When to start group violin class:
It is sometimes suggested that you "ease in" to violin by starting on an "easier" instrument. Or it might be suggested that you "wait" until your child is "a little older". While such suggestions are often well intended, they are inherently false. There is no right age or amount of previous music experience required to begin group violin class. You can feel comfortable to jump right in as violin class is both fun and accessible. Our group violin class is a mixed-age and mixed-level environment where beginners can learn from other students as well as the teacher, and continuing students can grow at their own pace as musicians.
